I am so happy to report that I’ve been occupied with the birth of Dylan Clara Barohn, my daughter, Ruth’s, baby. She was born March 18, at 9:38 pm, weighing 6 lbs and 19 inches long. I got the word while at a movie (shouldn’t surprise anyone who knows me). Going to see her in early April. Can’t wait.
This weekend in London is Autographica at the Radisson Edwardian, Heathrow. Among the desirable autograph-givers will be NASA astronauts, including Buzz Aldrin (I’ve met Aldrin. He’s very accommodating.) Also, actress Barbara Bain (original Mission Impossible on TV), people from Dr. Who, Star Wars, The Shining a a large 007 contingent. You can get specifics at the website above. Among the 007 group is my friend Robert Davi, (photo with me at left taken in February, 2012). Robert is leading the pack on the IMDB poll of the favorite Bond villains, He was Franz Sanchz in Licence To Kill. He’s also, as noted here several times, a terrific singer. So many interesting people will be there. If I were in London or nearby London (like so many of you), I’d go. Drop me an email if you are planning on attending.
