Thanks. I feel really silly – don’t know why I didn’t notice it. I did give him a cigar as he walked off stage so maybe my mind was on that – wondering if I should hand it to him then or at the end of the concert. I also have noticed when I am in Vegas and see him several nights that the first night is kind of a blur. It starts and ends so quickly.

I had tickets to see Tom with my sister but as I’m in Indiana I couldn’t make it at the last minute. Although…feeling sorry for me she let me listen via cell and he DID sing my favorite It’s Not Unusual. I’ve seen him in concert dozens of times over the past forty years and he never leaves it out! It’s sort of his anthem….you know?!

Bonnie, great review. I was fortunate to be at Tom’s show in Las Vegas and can agree with most of what you observed. The lighting was a little bit much and I didn’t like the “boys” roaming about the stage while Tom is singing his heart out – a bit distracting. Other than that – I loved every minute!

After having seen Tom in concert in L.A. in August I knew I just had to see him again. I live in Midland, Texas so when I heard he would be playing in Dallas for one night only I was certain I would be in attendance. The show rocked and was most definitely just as much a party as it was a concert. I can’t wait for his return to the states also as I plan on being in attendance for yet another concert. One can never have too much of a good thing! In response to Susanne’s question the tickets ranged in price from $50.00 to $170.00. I was the first caller of the day when they went on sell and am proud to say I paid the $170.00 cost to see such an exquisite entertainer! Here’s to you Mr. Jones and many more memory making concerts in the future! You are most assuredly this woman’s fantasy!

Thanks so much for the review. I saw Sir Tom in LV last month and I’m still recovering; it was a fantastice show. I’ve read that Tom enjoys discovering new talent, so I think we need to give these young women (Abbie and Janet) a chance. They were selected for a reason, and they just need time to develop. After all they are backing up the world’s best and strongest singer, and that in itself, I’m sure, is a little intimidating.

I considered flying out to Dallas for the show, since I have relatives there. After reading the reviews, I wish I would have. I do agree that the back-up singers are not that great. They don’t have the professionalism that Tony, Sharon and Darelle have. Hope Tom has another great tour abroad and hurries back to the states.
