The Annual TJI Holiday Post
Friday, December 25th, 2009
For many years — until just about two years ago, in fact — there was always a holiday message from Tom to fans. To download a PDF of Tom’s 1980 holiday greeting to “Fan Club Presidents and Members,” click here.
As usual, if you cannot download it, please drop me note using the “Contact TJI” link at right and I’ll send it to you.
Also, if you missed the beautiful video in the post just below, do yourself a favor and check it out.

I thought your comment about movies and Chinese food, in your holiday message, was hilarious, and so true.
It was nice, back in the day, when Tom would send a nice Christmas message to the fans. He would send cards to the fan club presidents, who could pass them on to their members. Too bad that stopped.

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to open the link to Tom’s Christmas message. But I do remember when those Christmas messages were sent every year to the fan clubs. I used to belong to one – can’t seem to recall the name of the club…the memory isn’t what it used to be…but it was run by a mother and daughter from Queens, NY. In fact, it was due to th fan club presidents that I was able to get backstage at Resorts in Atlantic City to meet Tom about 22 years ago…what a thrill!!
