Our TJI.com Raffle Winners & Some “Priceless” Video of Sir Tom On June 18

First, the raffle to benefit the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation is complete. Winners were chosen by a fellow named Ethan McCoy, son of Tom Jones impersonator Steve McCoy (as, at this time, Steve was the closest I could get). The (very excited) winner of the memorabilia raffle is Diane, a fan from Colorado. The four pairs Ravinia tickets were won by Eunice and Monica (from Illinois) and Sue from the west coast. Sue won four tickets.By the way, Steve, who is going back into Legends In Concert at Harrah’s on The Strip the third week in July, was most eager to participate in any way he could and to let his seven year-old son help because, he says, “My 84 year-old mother had breast cancer last year and she’s recovering. But, when I was still single and back on the east coast, a 23 year-old a girl I dated died from breast cancer, so I’ve been aware what breast cancer can do. We’ve got to cure it and I want my son to feel the same way I do.”

As one person wrote me, “It is priceless!” Hope every viewer enjoys it as much as Tom clearly enjoyed himself at the event.

Congratulations to the winners of the raffle! Thanks for this video. I loved it! Would have loved to have been there in person!

Great video! Only he would have the courage to stop a song and start over, telling the band it wasn’t their fault, but his. Most singers would have faked their way through it. Sir Tom is certainly a CLASS ACT!

Love the way Tom turned the mistake into a joke,and I agree with Carol many would have faked it!

This man has truly amazed me, especially now, as we are all getting a little older, with his God given talent, and his energy and enthusiasm for performing. I’m so proud to be a fan, and so very excited to have won the memorabilia. Thanks Ellen for holding the raffle and for all the work you do.
