Fan Fare, What's New, Pussycat?
Here’s where you’ll find TJ photos and stories that don’t fit into any other categories. It is, as its name says, just for fans — and, hopefully, for fun.
Video Dating Back To The Turn Of This Century; “Legends” Hits Foxwoods
Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009Please don’t forget the Question of the Month in the post below!
First, is some video from Lampie the Clown of Tom, accompanied by the terrific guitarist Keith Airey, singing Crapped Out Again. The song is on the Live At Cardiff Castle DVD. This was shot at another time. The Keb Mo’ song really showcases Tom’s ability to sing blues. Love it! What do you think? You’ll find it in the TJI.com Video Library.
If you’re on the east coast of the US, are Jonesin’ for some Tom before his summer tour hits your region, and can do a trip to Foxwoods Resort this month, be sure to catch TJI’s friend Steve McCoy in the world-famous Legends In Concert. As the photo says (and that’s Steve, center, as Tom), they’ll be there from tonight through June 28.This is one of the most reasonably priced tickets around and as Tom said to an audience at the MGM Grand while introducing Steve, “He’s the best I’ve ever seen. He does me better than me!” Even one very negative-about-impersonators TJ fan admitted she enjoyed Steve’s show when he played the Eastside Cannery in Las Vegas in February. Another saw him in Legends in March and loved the entire show. Check it out and let us know what you think!
The show is Tuesday, 2 and 8 pm; Sunday 4 and 7 pm; Wednesday through Saturday, 8 pm (dark on Monday). Adults, $27.50; Children, $17.50, including taxes and fees. You can get tickets here.
And, if you do see Steve, be sure to say “hi” from all of Tom’s fans at TJI.com.

I highly recommend going to see Steve McCoy. He is an awesome “Tom Jones.” I saw him in Michigan. He’s the closest I’ve seen to the real thing =0)
