I was one of the singers and we are not Mariahs back-up singers, just some guests who love to make music together!!!

Tom Jones on stage was fantastic! And I met him later in the club. One day later he still remember me.

I agree with what you say.Being a Gemini too (day after you), I feel we are sometimes taken the wrong way because we are quiet at times and sometimes rather reserved.If however the reporter got to know us, I think she would be a little surprisrd at what we have to offer,and Tom is a fine example of that!

This writer had nothing good to say about the people there, did she? Just talking about the stupid things they said or did, or how they acted. What kind of newspaper is this? I hate that “crooner” thing when referring to Sir Tom, about as much as the panty hurling. I have never met the man, but I always pictured him to be somewhat gracious and humble with a great sense of humor. Sounds like she was a bit jealous and I wonder if the “growling” thing was an idea she fancied in her head. Does he do that? Wishful thinking, perhaps?

Maybe I’m crazy, but I think Tom is a little shy with people that he doesn’t know. I’ve met him on a number of occasions over the last 30 (OMG!) years, and he’s not exactly a chatterbox. I’m sure when he’s around friends, he is the life of the party like most Gemini’s are. Being one myself (June 10), I am exactly the same way (quiet around strangers but you can’t shut me up with my friends!). I was lucky enough to get one of those pics in February and he did pull me in close. I didn’t get the growl, though

We’re all very well aware of how newspaper reporters at times get it wrong and take things out of context. So, I think Sir Tom was being cautious. His actions obviously turned the reporter off, and I say bloody hell, if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Tom Jones Growling in my ear!!! Suggestive comment!!! Bring it on! I’m smiling and a bit excited just at the thought.

Sir Tom always takes a fabulous picture, but I always wondered why the female fans in them have such great smiles. I thought it was just being near him. Now I know it’s a PULL IN CLOSE and a GROWL IN THE EAR. That would sure put a BIG smile on my face!
