Yesterday the ad for Trop50, Tropicana’s new product that promises “50 percent less calories and sugar than orange juice” was mentioned here.
Dave pointed out that the woman in the ad is Kyra Sedgwick — who, he noted, introduced Tom on Men Strike Back in April 2000 (photo at left) — and a blog speculated the actor — very serious in The Closer on TV had to do the ad because she and husband Kevin Bacon were taken for $50 million by Bernie Madoff and needed the money.
Whatever the reason, she looks great and has some terrific moves. (Note, of course, that the person whose music is used also gets royalties for each airplay and it’s played quite often.)
You can see the video here. If you cannot get it and haven’t seen it on TV, send an email with the contact link on the right below and I’ll send it to you.

Tom’s song Delilah is also being used here in the UK with the words changed,as an attack to the labour party from the opposition.I heard it for the first time this morning on the local radio and won’t be surprised to read about it in the national papers tommorow.

Gill: Here’s the song and video you heard. Personally, I just love politics! Of course, this has absolutely nothing to do with Tom Jones. He doesn’t sing the song. It’s merely a parody.
