Finally! Video of Sir Tom & The Ladies of “The View” & That “Cupid” Commercial

Sorry for the delay in getting this posted, but real life sometimes intervenes.
At any rate, Tom was as usual charming on The View and, in addition to the chat, he sang two songs. (And, see, we noted yesterday that they are called “The Ladies” of The View.)

Also, if you watched the show, you may have noticed that the last commercial spot was for the new ABC show. Cupid. It’s been mentioned here and on other message boards that the theme they’re using is Give A Little Love.

(PS: Something very weird came via a google news alert today…..Dated December 31, 2005 it was a very brief CBS News video clip to go with the announcement that Tom Jones was on the Queen’s New Year’s Honors list. Odd.)

PS—I noficed the “Cupid” commercial, too–along with 527 OTHER commercials–I thought thet’d NEVER get back to Tom!! And, that pix of Tom along with Joy and Barbara of “The View”—doesn’t Tom sort of look like Paul Newman? With the gray hair–he reminds me of him–and I think Tom would be flattered–altho, Tom is actually more handsome than Paul was. Don’t all you guys agree!!

Marisa: Yes, Sherri did say that but it’s not on their calendar (nothing is for July). The rumor was that they were going to be there last year and it never happened. But Tom will be in that part of the country in late July, we hear. So, let’s hope.

Tom looked good and sounded great on the show! Sounded like the audience loved him too. The more I see of him with the gray hair, the more I like it! He was looking quite dapper today.

WOW- he looked fabulous in that shirt and tie-totally complimented his silver hair. I’m still mesmerized by the new look!

It was a very nice interview & the ladies were respectful. Maybe a little “awe-struck”. Tom & the band were, as usual, great. Love the silver hair & am looking forward to seeing how it looks in person in a few weeks. Sandy S.

I truly enjoyed the show. Tom’s hair looked whiter than some of the pictures – looked very distinguished and I loved that he wore a suit and tie
I hope The View has him back again some time.
Does anyone have any statistics on how well the CD 24 Hours is doing in sales?

Thanks. Do you think Tom really has nightmares about hiding a body or do you think that Joy Behar just needed to make a menopause joke and they prepped him to say that? If so, for gods sake, WHY? So not funny! It was great to see him on t.v. and I was thankful he did not name-drop Amy Winehouse yet again. She is soooo washed-up and Tom has given her way too much free PR and undeserved credit lately.

Its always great to see Tom on TV in the USA…even though seeing him makes my heart ache for another TJ fix.
