“This Is Tom Jones Christmas” DVD News!
Friday, September 7th, 2007The DVD, from Time Life will carry a street price of $14.99. It’s one disc, more than one hour of playing time, and features a wide variety of entertainment, including Ella Fitzgerald, Rudolf Nureyev, Judy Collins and The Treorchy Male Choir as background when Tom goes home and reads Dylan Thomas’ A Child’s Christmas In Wales (which, alone, would be worth the price). There’s also that beloved Christmas standard, Tutti Fruitti.

Ho Ho Ho… sorry, I still had Charlotte Church’s comment on my mind…. right, now onto the Christmas DVD… what an eclectic mix of songs and performers.
It’s at the top of my Christmas Wish List and something I will definitely get!

Looks like Santa is gonna be coming a little early this year. October 30? Just in time for Trick or Treat and what better treat than more TJ! As Fay said, thanks TJI.com for always keeping us up-to-the-minute!

Yes, that was always a favorite of mine…when caroling, we’d always sing it right after Away in the Manger but before Here Comes Santa Claus. Fond memories for sure.

Thanks so much for the info. All these years later, I can still hear Tom reciting A Childs Christmas in Wales whenever I read that poem. When is it available to order? Just tried at Time Life and was informed not available.

Thanks Ellen and Ursula. It’s always nice to hear about a new Tom cd coming out. My husband will be happy that he won’t have to think to hard about my Christmas gift.
