Great News For European Fans: “TITJ” DVD Is Region-Free With Right TV/DVD Player!
Wednesday, July 11th, 2007Some good news for people outside North America who are waiting for the This Is Tom Jones DVDs to come out in PAL format.
Four people from Europe have told us that the NTSC (Region 1) set will play in their DVD players. These are new players that seem to be region-free. Of course, they’ll most often play in computers, too.
So, if you can’t wait to get the set in PAL format, you do not necessarily have to wait and can order the set now. Just make sure you have a relatively new DVD player and it should work.

Actually…the set is region free, so they play on older DVD-players too. Just be sure that your DVD-player and TV-set supports NTSC!! That’s all.

Time Life does ship outside the US. I am Norwegian and i bought the DVD set from them. And yes, new DVD players play NTSC format. Thanks for all TJ information, I am a big fan of this outstanding voice.

Henning: We’re not arguing, but we just called Time Life here in the US and they again said they do not ship overseas. We cannot explain how you got a DVD from them in Norway, but we’re glad you did. Thanks so much for visiting our site.
